Installation of Decking Supports or Pedestals

Irrespective of whether the project involves natural stone, concrete slabs, timber or metal grating - installation is child's play if you use euro-system Couwenbergs oHG's pedestals, no matter what material is used. Loose-lay installation on pedestals is the optimum solution for permanent installations on terraces, balconies or flat roofs and also for temporary installations, because the materials used are more weather-resistant and specific height requirements can be more easily met - and handling is convenient.

This also applies to laying cables or pipework beneath terraces, cleaning under-floor spaces, checking local seals or even
re-laying the required decking.

Depending on what roof insulation is present, the following components are laid on top of one another:

· Protective matting (depending on specification)

· Decking supports or pedestals (if necessary with pressure shim washers)

· Paving slabs, timber planks or metal grating

· Spacers (if different or non-standard spacing between joints is required)
